Parish Choir

The St. Isaac Jogues Parish Choir is made up of volunteers who enjoy singing and wish to help preserve the great tradition of classical liturgical music in order to maintain it as a vibrant living tradition within the Roman Catholic Church.  Its members come from both professional musical backgrounds, as well as non-professionals who have a love of singing wonderful hymns and the classical works of composers such as Palestrina, Mozart and Franck.  The Choir sings the Mass, most often using the Gregorian Ordinaries appropriate to the liturgical year as well as the English Propers. This love is motivated not by a desire to perform concerts of classical music but for the glory of God—the reason, for which these works were originally written. As a volunteer in the Choir one will meet a vibrant community of people who are self-giving and a light for our church community. St. Isaac Jogues Senior Choir sings in four parts and is always welcoming of parishioners willing to make the sacrifice and commitment necessary to glorify God on a weekly basis. We sing at the 11:30 am Mass on Sunday and are open to anyone who is willing to volunteer time and talent. Rehearsals take place each Wednesday evening in the church loft from 8:30 until 10:00. Contact: Anna Hughes at or the parish office for more information.
